Written by Academy Award© Nominee Steven Knight (Eastern Promises and Dirty Pretty Things). Chef Adam Jones had it all – and lost it. A two star Michelin rockstar with the bad habits to match, the former enfant terrible of the Paris restaurant scene did everything different every time out, and only ever cared about the first taste of food on his patron’s lips. Consistency was the devil, and it became a motto for his cooking, as well as his life. Now, with most of his formal rivals thinking he’s dead, Adam wants back in: his own kitchen and that third elusive Michelin star. To do it, he will need the best of the best - a team that will include an old adversarial sous-chef bent on revenge, an ex-con pastry chef, and the beautiful Sweeney, another top chef Adam must steal from the restaurant of a close friend. of course, even with his dream team assembled, Adam cannot outrun the ghosts of his past, including a former drug dealer still looking for payback…and almost every other wannabe hotshot chef in continental europe. But with a fresh start in London and a little help from Sweeney, Adam learns that not all life needs to be lived quite so close to the fire. uNTiTLeD CHeF PRoJeCT is a remarkably funny and emotional story for food lovers and anyone that believes in the power of second chances.

From James Wan, the creator of Saw and Insidious comes a startling new film that combines found footage with classic genre filmmaking to take you behind-the-scenes into a modern day murder investigation with evil ties to a crime that is decades old.
Local legend holds that an old abandoned house in the bowels of Louisiana is haunted-and for good reason. Decades ago a girl invited her friends over for an innocent séance. But something horrific happened in that house that nobody can explain. Nobody knows what happened that left four friends murdered and one dead by her own doing. Now, years have passed; the house has been abandoned, boarded and left for rot. But a group of amateur ghost hunters set out one night to document the house for supernatural remnants lingering from years past. They round up their gear, and set out together for an evening of paranormal documentation. Hours later, police receive a possible homicide call and arrive at the house to a grizzly scene. The ghost hunters murdered in cold blood. The only survivor is visibly and emotionally shaken, unable to convey what he’s witnessed. The police interview him for his testimony but he cannot remember a thing. it is only until the unit’s psychologist shows up and pries with the right questions that it all starts coming back…with terrifying results!

Adapted from the best-selling novel by Matthew Quick, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK is a touching, one-of-a-kind comedy about love and second chances.
Pat Peoples (Bradley Cooper) is a man always trying to look on the bright side of life – the title of the story takes it’s name from the expression that “every cloud has a silver lining.” Released from the hospital after losing his wife to another man, Pat believes this age-old adage is just the ticket to trying to win her back and get his life on track. Trying to remain resolutely undiscouraged, Pat moves back in with his parents and devotes himself entirely to becoming the man his wife always wanted him to be. But it’s an uphill battle. Until Pat meets Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), a beautiful young woman whose life also has not turned out the way she wanted. Together, the couple will try and navigate through their lives and stay true to who they are, always just one adventure away from a unique friendship, and possibly even love.

From famed producer Simon Cowell (American Idol), director David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada, Marley and Me and Hope Springs) and writer Justin Zackham (The Bucket List, The Big Wedding), comes the amazing true story of “Britain’s Got Talent” winner and future opera star, Paul Potts. The film stars BAFTA and Tony Award winning actor and comedian, James Corden, (TV’s Gavin & Stacey theater’s One Man, Two Guvnors), as the unlikely english tenor who stepped out of total obscurity to become an overnight sensation; his audition for “Britain’s Got Talent” has received close to 100 million hits on YouTube, while the titular album - One Chance - reached #1 in over 13 countries and has sold over 3.5 million copies worldwide. But like most great underdog stories, Potts’ road to success was not an easy one. Bullied most of his life and always struggling to find an audience as much as to make ends meet, Potts was working as a mobile phone salesman and practicing his passion for Pavarotti in relative secrecy before going on to win the crown at Cowell’s inaugural talent contest. Things start to change when he meets the love of his life in Julie-Ann, and their love story is the true heart of his amazing life and staggering rise to fame. But even with her devotion and support, Potts continued to struggle to be heard and his big break remained just out of reach. until finally, with nothing left to lose, on the eve of his lowest moment, Potts will get one chance to turn it all around in an emotional landmark television moment that still continues to inspire. Joining the rarified ranks of other triumphant stories of those who struggle to find their own voices – like oscar winners The King’s Speech and The Artist – oNe CHANCe proves to ultimately be a story of the indomitable human spirit – and love.

Three-time Academy Award® winner Meryl Streep and oscar® winner Julia Roberts star in the “fiercely funny and bitingly sad” big screen adaptation of Tracy Letts’ Tony Award® and Pulitzer Prize winning play, AuGuST: oSAGe CouNTY. Coming on the heels of her latest oscar® win for The Iron Lady, Streep stars as Violet Weston, the sharp-tongued matriarch of the South’s most dysfunctional family since Paul Newman and elizabeth Taylor tore up the screen (and each other) in that other Pulitzer Prize-winning classic - Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Directed by John Wells, “August” begins on the night that Violet’s husband of 30 years, Beverly, mysteriously vanishes without a trace. Beverly’s disappearance draws the couple’s three daughters, including eldest Barbara (Roberts), back to the family home, each returning with husbands and boyfriends in tow to comfort their mother and help solve the mystery of what happened to their father. As with all families, home brings out the best and the worst in everyone, as each of the children settles back into their place in the unforgiving hierarchy of the family – all amid the palpable heat of summer. Letts’ work borrows its name from the famous Howard Starks poem, describing a month of August heavy with “heat-thickened air” and “no real breeze all day.” And it’s that stifling climate that will slowly force Violet and her family to face truths about themselves and each other until the secret of what happened that fateful night is revealed.

The film is an atmospheric and gripping drama whose story and landscape nod gracefully to gritty film classics like Bonnie and Clyde and Badlands. Mara and Affleck star as Ruth and Bob, two young lovers who go on a passion-fueled crime spree one summer that ends in a violent shootout with police. Several years later, we find Bob in prison, longing to be reunited with Ruth and the couple’s new baby girl, Sylvie, who he has never seen. Meanwhile, Ruth works at a small job in town, and cares for Sylvie while seemingly trying to put her life with Bob behind her – all under the watchful eye of a young cop (Ben Foster) who survived the original shootout. But Bob’s restlessness proves too strong, and after four years behind bars he escapes with the singular purpose of trying to get back to his wife and daughter. Now, Ruth must deal with the possibility of her lover’s return, while Bob finds himself pursued by the law and old partners looking for payback. in the end, the couple must risk everything to start over as a tense, third act collision course with fate pulls them irreversibly towards each other.

From Academy Award® nominated director Atom egoyan (The Sweet Hereafter), and starring oscar® winners Colin Firth (The King’s Speech) and Reese Witherspoon (Walk The Line) comes the true story of a crime that would grip a nation for almost two decades, and that continues to be one of the most high-profile trials of all time. Based on the bestseller by Mara Leveritt, DeViL’S KNoT recounts the trial and conviction of teenagers Damien echols, Jessie Misskelley Jr., and Jason Baldwin in the savage murder of three 8 year-old boys in the small town of West Memphis, Arkansas in 1993. Dubbed the so-called West Memphis Three, the defendants, each of them a social outsider, quickly found themselves up against a community crying out for justice, as well as a lack of physical evidence that led police to believe the murders were carried out as part of a satanic occult ritual. Colin Firth stars as Ron Lax in the film, a local private investigator and one of the first people to support the teens in their defense. Reese Witherspoon plays Pam Hobbs, the mother of one of the murdered boys. Together, they allow an uncompromising look at both sides of a town torn apart, and that will probably never be the same again.

A tale of competition at its most cut-throat, BUTTER surveys the raw ambition of Laura Pickler (Jennifer Garner), the wife of Bob Pickler (Ty Burrell), Iowa’s long-reigning champion butter carver. For 15 years, Laura has relished her high-profile role as the beautiful, loyal helpmate to her affable, artistically gifted husband. But when Bob is pressured to retire and allow someone else a chance at glory, an indignant Laura decides to enter the competition herself. She is first in line on sign-up day, only to see her odds of victory fall below 100 with the arrival of an unlikely yet formidable contender: 10-year-old Destiny (Yara Shahidi), the African-American foster child of local couple Julie and Ethan (Alicia Silverstone and Rob Corddry). And that’s not all. Bob’s would-be mistress, bad-girl stripper Brooke (Olivia Wilde) also declares her candidacy, as does his #1 fan, Carol-Ann (Kristen Schaal). Facing three opponents, mocked by her stepdaughter Kaitlen (Ashley Greene) and furious with her husband, Laura resolves to do whatever it takes to win. And if that means resorting to sabotage – and recruiting her dim-witted former boyfriend Boyd (Hugh Jackman) as a co-conspirator – then so be it.
In the tradition of Best In Show and Election, BUTTER can be enjoyed as a straightforward, albeit merrily twisted, comedy about American life and culture. But Laura Pickler probably wouldn’t be surprised if the liberal media views BUTTER as a veiled commentary on the larger world of politics.

After 10 years of marriage, Jeff and Nealy Lang (Tobey Maguire and elizabeth Banks) have a young son, idyllic suburban life, and a marriage that is stuck. That all changes on the day that Jeff decides to plant the perfect backyard, a home improvement project that almost instantly sets off a hysterical chain of events involving multiple infidelities, extortion, organ donation, and somebody ending up on the wrong side of a bow-and-arrow. Devilish throughout, THe DeTAiLS also stars Laura Linney in a stand-out performance as the Lang’s lonely neighbor, Lila.
in the end, the film is both a love story and an existential horror story. The root of Jeff’s misdeeds after all, is that he wants to love his wife but no longer knows how. Filmmaker Jacob Aaron estes plays with the notion that the smallest thing can unravel our lives. His narrative spontaneity and anarchic spirit allow characters to keep digging themselves into deeper moral holes to see if the universe will punish them. The result is a darkly funny meditation on marital malaise.

During a trip to California, a family’s car overheats leaving them stranded in the home of a creepy couple and their kid. GeNeSiS is the chilling next chapter in the ever-popular horror series based on the classic Stephen King story. When a stranded young couple seeks refuge in a remote desert compound, they encounter a strange, Manson-like figure known as Preacher (Billy Drago, The Untouchables). He reluctantly allows them inside with orders to be gone by morning. While investigating faint screams coming from a dilapidated shed, the couple discovers they have stumbled upon a bizarre cult worshipping an entity that may -- or may not -- dwell inside a haunted little boy.
