PART A: Practical Assignment
You are employed at Swaggies and have been asked to prepare a spreadsheet using the results of a survey on the types of fizzy drinks people prefer. 3000 people were asked what their favourite fizzy drink was, and what their next preference would be if their favourite was not available. Create a spreadsheet using the following information. Save your spreadsheet as Fizzy Drinks in your (surname) Cluster B folder.
a) Enter the data on page 4 into your saved spreadsheet.
b) Apply appropriate number formats to your numbers.
c) Centre your spreadsheet horizontally and vertically on the page.
d) Give your spreadsheet an appropriate title and centre it across your spreadsheet. Choose an appropriate font in 20pt font and bold. Shade this cell.
e) Select the best page orientation for your spreadsheet.
f) Adjust the column width and row height to suit the layout you have selected.
g) Choose an appropriate font for your sub-titles and text. Sub-titles in 14pt font, bold and text in 12pt font.
h) Insert a new column in between 1st preference and 2nd Preference. Call this column 1st Preference Percentage.
i) Create formulas to calculate the percentage of the total number of people surveyed that preferred each specific fizzy drink as their first preference.
j) Insert a new column to the right of 2nd preference. Call this column 2nd Preference percentage.
k) Create formulas to calculate the percentage of the total number of people surveyed that preferred each specific fizzy drink as their second preference.
l) Create a header with the following information. Left align – (your name), centre align – (insert file name), right align – (insert date).
m) Insert a page number for this spreadsheet and place it in the footer and centre aligned.
