Activity: ● Listen to I Love Bugs by Philemon Sturges after discussing new

vocabulary words: *swoop - to come down fast *creep -to move slowly along the ground * paddle - to move in water using hands or feet *weaves - spins or knits using yarn or other kinds of string or silk.

● After listening to story, students will draw a picture of their favorite part of the story. Write a sentence about their favorite part. Try to use a vocabulary word from today if it talks about your favorite part. Be sure to put date on top of page.

Modifications: Listen to the story as many times as you need to.
