At Home Getty Art Challenge 4/3/2020

For this week’s assignment we are going to use the Getty Arts Center’s Art Challenge. Basically, you recreate a work of art using three items you have at home. For more information check out the websites below.

1. Look at one of the websites below to find a work of art to recreate. 2. Use http://www.getty.edu/art/ for the Getty Museum

or https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection for The Metropolitan Museum

3. Use three items you have at home to recreate a work of art from the museum.4. Take a picture. Copy the photo. 5. Paste the photo and the original image in a word document6. Find and write the following information to include with your photo.

Title of the artwork: Artist’s name: Date or time period: Media or materials used in the original: What three (or more) items from home did you use for your project

7. Upload your assignment to your Notebook Folder in One Note in Office 365
