Choose the sound for the phonics group you are in. How many words can you come up with that have this sound in them? Can you use your

Wednesday 10th June Spelling – Look, say, cover, write, check!
Today we would like you to practise a spelling strategy. It has 5 easy steps: 1. Look at your word. 2. Say your word. 3. Cover your word (use your non-writing hand or another piece of paper). 4. Write your word. 5. Check if you got it correct. You can repeat these steps until you can spell the word by heart. Choose 5 words from our tricky word mat to have a go at. There is a practise sheet on the next page. Just copy your 5 spellings into the first column to get started
