Who Are We ?

WCOM-LPFM 103.5 wcomfm.org

Your voice in the community...www.wcomfm.org

Our current downtown broadcast studio:

Broadcasting began September, 2004, under an FCC "low power" 100 watt license. Today our program schedule includes 74 locally produced music and talk shows created by over 100 volunteers each week. We also carry some of the most incisive news shows on the air, like Democracy Now, Free Speech Radio News and Counter Spin.

Our Transmitter at Scroggs Elementary

We use a 900-mhz microwave signal to send our broadcast from the station to our transmitter and broadcast antenna, atop a light pole by the school's football field. This is called a "STL" or studio transmitter link.
