WBS - THINGS TO REMEMBER: • Read the Design Basis and ATR (Scope)

• Look to past design projects for examples

• Talk to people with experience doing the work

• Keep it simple, keep it tangible wherever possible

• Define Deliverables (Work Packages)

• Level at which cost and schedule can be reliably estimated

• Determine actual inputs required for Calcs/Dwgs

• Allow for different levels of decomposition to deal with varying degrees of

complexity

• Think in terms of Inputs/Outputs Required from which resource

• Assign Resources to Tasks to Produce Deliverable

• Assign Responsibility + Task to Resources
