• HDP training has been delivered for 11 candidates (focusing on active learning, continuous assessment, lesson planning and action research).• Further training is currently being provided for 10 more candidates.• A HDP Tutor has been appointed to ensure that the programme is sustainable.

Continuous Professional Development at Finote Selam CTE

• CPD Training has been delivered for 17 candidates, supporting the objectives from the College Development plan.• A fully sustainable CPD programme has been set up, which will be led by college staff.

English Language Improvement Programme at Finote Selam CTE

• A new English Language Improvement Centre has been set up.

• The College English Day has been relaunched.

• Four English Clubs have been started at the college, run by English teachers and volunteers.

• English Clubs are being provided for two primary schools and one secondary.

• Support and training has been provided for the 13 cluster schools linked to the college, focusing on active learning, lesson planning, ICT and English language improvement.

• A budget for a network has been prepared and presented to the college.•An ICT Girls club has been established.•ICT training has been provided for administrative staff.
