Doubling the Farmer's Income :
Integrated Solar Water Pump
Farmers Cooperative
Climate Change Initiatives :
Electric Charging Stations under
FAME INDIA SCHEME
Farmers at Mujkuva village Vehicle Charging station at Jaipur
In continuation to its efforts towards
Integrated Solar Water Pump
Farmers Cooperative at various
villages under NDDB, the Company has signed Triparty agreement with NDDB and IWMI for executing India's first pilot project for Mujhkuva Saur Urja Utpadak Sahkari Mandali, aiming to have Solar water pumping as an effective tool to improve irrigation with better earning of the farmers through sale of power to utility Company. Therefore, Dairy Cooperatives will have another integration that may well grow into a genre of its own i.e. Integrated Solar Water Pump Cooperatives. In this
sense, this hybrid idea can play a
big role in fulfilling the Prime
Minister's dream of doubling
farm incomes.
Initially, a 10HP SPV Water Pumping System has been deployed, out of total planned 200kWp capacity for 14 farmers of MSPICE (Mujkuva Solar Pump Irrigators Cooperative Enterprise).
As a part of National Electrical
Mobility Mission 2020, Department of
Heavy Industry (DHI), Govt. of India,
has formulated a scheme Faster
Adoption and Manufacturing of
(Hybrid &) Electrical vehicles in India
(FAME). The Department of Heavy
Industry entrusted the responsibility
of developing & setting up Solar
Hybrid Electric Vehicle charging
infrastructures at three locations in
walled city of Jaipur to REIL.
Under the Scheme, REIL developed
and set up 3 nos. of Solar Grid Hybrid
Electric Vehicle Charging systems and
installed them at locations identified
by Jaipur Nagar Nigam for wider
visibility and usefulness.
These systems can be used for charging
of Electric Cars, Two Wheelers and
Three Wheelers effectively. The
charging systems have a billing
mechanism for the power used and a
print out of the charge slip can be
obtained and given to the vehicle
owner.
