Install and Configure ADFS 3.0
Install ADFS 3.0:
From the Start Menu, Select Server Manager
Click on Local Server and select Manage -> Add Roles and Features
Click Next
Select "Role-based or feature-based installation"
Click Next
Select "Select a server from the server pool". Select the current machine. Click Next
Select Active Directory Federation Services. Click Next
Click Next
Click Next
Click Install
Once the installation is completed, click Close
Generate an SSL Certificate:
From the start menu, select Server Manager, click Tools -> Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
Click on the local machine. Click on Server Certificates. Right Click to select Open Feature.
Click on Create Self Signed Certificate
Enter a Friendly Name – ADFS 30 Federation Oracle. Select Personal as the Certificate Store. Click OK
Configuring ADFS 3.0:
In Server Manager, click on AD FS. Click on the More icon for the Configuration required for Active Directory Federation Services.
In the popup window, click on "Configure the federation services"
Select "Create the first federation server in a federation server farm". Click Next
Click Change
Enter the admin credentials for this Windows Server 2012 R2 machine. Click OK
Click Next
Select the SSL Certificate previously created. Enter a Federation Service Display Name. Click Next
Select "Use an existing domain user account or group Managed Service Account". Click Select
Click Advanced
Click Find Now. Select the admin user account. Click OK
Click OK
Enter the password for the admin account. Click Next
Select "Create a database on this server using Windows Internal Database". Click Next
Click Next
Click Configure
Click Close
