Rotate an image

Changing the view does not alter the image, just what you see while working on it.

Adjusting contrast

Adjustments > Brightness/contrast

Immediate feedback – high contrast

Immediate feedback – low contrast

Experiment – you can undo everything

Paint.net keeps a complete history of every thing you do, and you can undo it one step at a time by typing control-z.

The history window displays every step you have taken, and you can use it to immediately revert the image to any earlier point.

Window > History

Apply the ink sketch effect

Effects > Artistic > Ink sketch

Resize an image

Image > Resize

If you check Maintain aspect ratio, changing either the width or height automatically adjusts the other.
