volunteer program is a great way to meet other teens, gain work experi-
ence and earn service hours. Volunteer forms will be available in May.

What Does Health Reform Mean For Me?

EverThrive Illinois Affordable Care Act Ambassador Will Wilson will be providing a presentation on health care reform and the Affordable Care Act. During his presentation, Will will cover the new consumer protections that individuals can now expect from their health coverage, details on the enrollment process for both private health care coverage and Medicaid, and help-ful information about how health insurance may affect your taxes. This presentation will provide useful information for those who currently have health coverage, as well as those who want to know more about their opportunities to enroll in coverage.

Al Capone and the Route 66 Connection

Chicago Historian Dave Clark talks about the events that occurred during Prohibition which had connections to Route 66. Some were accidents of geography while others have a more causal con-nection. Bootlegging, crooked politics and mob hits are detailed in this lively presentation.

Learn how to insulate a container for summer heat and winter cold, and a co-polymer to the soil-less medium so you water less and discover other secrets that will make your edible moveable garden the en-vy of your neighborhood. Come and have a chance to win “Berry” attractive container. Products and other surprises will be given away during this demonstration.
