About DiVA

• Started in 2000 – Electronic Publishing Centre (EPC), Uppsala– Purpose was primarily to publish doctoral theses

• A completely new version in 2008– combined system for full texts and bibliographic

references (evaluation/bibliometrics)• Built on open source software

DiVA Consortium

• A collaboration of 30 Scandinavian universities and research institutes using DiVA– all contribute to the system development– management and technical support in

Uppsala

DiVA portal contains 475 000 references, of which nearly 100 000 are in full text research publications and student theses
