1. SCOPE:

This lesson introduces the students to the analysis of leadership case studies and how to apply lessons

learned to future operations.

2. LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

This lesson supports SLC-LCC TLO 400-SLC-300.1, Army Leadership and Profession, as

listed in the S300 advance sheet.

ELO: 400-SLC-305

Action: Analyze a leadership case study.

Condition: As a learner and leader attending the SLC-LLC, using an organizational-level leadership

perspective in notional tactical and operational environments, given references, practical exercises

and classroom discussions.

Standard: Analysis includes—

Analyzing the purpose of a case study

Employing the six principles of mission command to analyze a case study
