O UNICEF, United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund purpose is to provide care and education to children of all nations.

OverviewO Worldwide, over 1.5

billion children are attending kindergartens, primary and secondary schools.

O There will be an estimated 56 million children still out of school in 2015, over half of them girls.

Objectives

O Developing an evidence-base on lessons learned;

O Providing technical support to countries; and

O Enhancing the global and national policy dialogues.
