Who does “ecotourism” refer to?

Ecotourism is a form of tourism that involves visiting natural areas -- in the remote wilderness or urban environments. Ecotourism is responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people.

The prefix ‘eco-’ means ‘earth’. For example:

ecosystem 生态系统

eco-awareness 环保意识

eco-office 无污染办公室

Everyone can do something for our environment.  For me, I should try to save electricity in my daily life.
