Undergraduate and Graduate Education
In Trauma Psychology Undergraduate and Graduate Education. The following list includes undergraduate and graduate psychology programs with either program emphasis and/or faculty expertise in trauma psychology. The table indicates whether programs offer PhD or PsyD training or undergraduates and/or masters only. When available on the web, we have included examples of relevant faculty’s interests and contact information. Information on APA accreditation and accredited programs is available at http://www.apa.org/ed/accreditation/doctoral.html. Updates. This list was compiled based on a series of web searches. We look forward to incorporating this list to include additional sites and faculty. To help us expand this list and keep it current, please send updates, additions or corrections to the Chair of the Education and Training Committee. Predoctoral Internship and Postdoctoral Training. For information on APA‐accredited predoctoral internship and postdoctoral training sites, please consult the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internships Centers at http://www.appic.org/. APPIC allows users to search sites using key words (e.g., child abuse, veteran) that will assist in identifying internships and postdoctoral placements with trauma‐related training opportunities.
