How to Tweet
• You can only tweet up to 140 characters• You can tweet pictures• You can tweet links to websites
How to Retweet
• RT = Retweet
How to Follow Someone on Twitter
• Search for their Twitter handle• Click follow
How to Tweet Directly to Someone
• When you are in your Tweet message box, you need to put the person’s Twitter handle into your tweet in order for them to get alerted someone tweeted directly to them
How to Reply to a Tweet Someone Sent You
• Click the rely button (arrow pointing left) Tweet to them
How to Direct Message Someone
• A personal, private message only that person can see and no one else
• Still only 140 characters• Comparable to Text messaging, email

• A hashtag (#) is like a channel on the TV• Anyone who follows a hashtag will be able to
see your tweets even if they do not follow up directly on Twitter
