• Turn on laptop & scanner if necessary. • Log In as a guest. • Insert flash drive into available USB port.

• Open HP Solution Center if necessary.

• Click the home option on bottom

• Click the scan picture button

Open scanner lid. Insert picture upside down in right corner. Close lid. Select Picture to File (if necessary) then click the scan button.

• Adjust Save Location

• Click Browse button• Find flash drive

directory• Save in BizCom

folder

• Deselect checkmark for use monthly subfolder

• Click OK button

• Change file name to: Past Self

Picture should scan onto computer. Be sure the dotted line is around your picture. Use tabs to adjust rotation, crop, lighten/darken, adjust color, or correct picture. When finished, click the finish button. Click done once scan is complete.

Web Cam Instructions• Connect webcam if

necessary to USB port

• Click on Start Button—Select My Computer

• Double-click USB Video Device

• Position yourself/camera/or monitor of laptop to fit into view

• Click the Take Picture Button

• Double-click to open Picture at bottom

• Click the Save Button

• Under Computer, find flash drive and save in BIZCOM folder as CURRENT SELF
