United Thank Offering - Sunday, June 2 It is such a simple thing to take a moment each day to pause, ref lect upon the many blessings in our l ives, give thanks to God and put aside a few coins as blessings to the l ives of others.
An Outdoor Worship Service & Picnic will be held at the Hiawatha Pavil ion on Sunday, June 2 at 10:30 am. (No early service wil l be held that day.) Fried chicken wil l be provided, and everyone is asked to bring a side dish to share. Bring lawn chairs i f you wish. This event wil l kick off our Trinity Growth Fund Campaign. Following the meal people may buy t ickets for the Hiawatha cruise at 1 pm. A sign -up sheet is posted.

The Bald Eagle Art Show wil l be held in Way’s Garden for 2 days this year—June 8 & 9 from 11-4 each day!
Strawberry Festival - Sunday, June 9, 11:30 am - 3:30 pm Food donations are needed and monetary donations for the tent renta l and supplies as well as volunteers to help set up the tables, bake shortcake, and serve the day of the event. Pentecost—Sunday, June 9 Everyone is encouraged to wear red. Red is the color of JOY and represents the “tongues of fire” of the Holy Spir it .
Red Geraniums—Gifts may be given in memory or thanksgiving of a loved one, to purchase red geraniums to decorate the a ltar on Pentecost.
A Liturgical Welcome wi l l be held on June 9 for people new to Trinity .
Father’s Day - Gifts may be made to the Trinity Growth Fund in memory of, or thanksgiving for, your father. Envelopes are located outside the Chapel and in the Library area. Names wil l be l isted in the bullet in on Father’s Day, June 16.
Oxford House - Work continues on the Oxford House in our rectory. A l ist of jobs to be completed is posted . We are getting ready for our Community Partners Open House on Wednesday, May 29 and an Open House for the parish on Sunday, June 16 after both services.
Appalachian Camino – Walking the Way of Love in PA – June 23-28 Sign up at www.diocesecpa.org/camino . Sexton – Marc Garside’s last day as sexton wil l be May 31. EPIC Percussion has continued to grow, and Marc was finding less and le ss time to devote to his part time job as sexton. Sondra Singh has been hired as our new sexton to begin June 3.

Vacation Bible School - Last year we teamed up with St. Mark’s and St. Luke Lutheran to hold a Harry Potter themed VBS at Trinity. This year we are joining St. Luke Lutheran to hold “To Mars & Beyond” from August 4-8 in the evening at St. Luke. Teen and adult volunteers are needed. We encourage Trinity’s children/grandchildren to attend. If these dates do not suit, you may want to consider the VBS at New Covenant UCC from July 21 -25 from 6:00-8:30 pm. The theme is “Roar! Life is Wild. God is good.”
Yard Sale – We made a profit of $995.85. Thanks to al l who helped with set up, sorting, working the day of the sale, and with clean up. At this point, we are not collecting i tems for a future yard sale unless we have a volunteer to be the coordinator.
