• Transportation Master Plan Approved by Council October, 2011

• 20 year capital program $2.4 billion capital investment

• Support growth in the Region to 2031 (ROPA 38)

• Ensure that transportation improvements are implemented as demand grows.

• New Regional Links– “5 ½ Line” + Interchange – 6 lanes,

Steeles Ave to Britannia Rd

– James Snow Parkway – 6 lane extension Britannia Rd to Highway 407

– North Service Road link between Oakville and Burlington – 4 lane
