The Training Officers Consortium (TOC - http://www.trainingofficers.org), founded in 1938 in Washington, DC, is a nonprofit organization of federal trainers and other professionals from industry and academia who are interested in contributing to the knowledge and practice of human resources and training. This slide show was presented at the 2009 Annual TOC Institute in Williamsburg, VA.

1955Annual Distinguished Service Awards

was launched to acknowledge individuals and organizations

making significant contributions

to the fields of training and

human resource development.

1967-1971

held Joint Awards Ceremony.

1983TOC expandedfrom an annual one-day

Institute and Awards Luncheon

to an overnight Institute and Awards Luncheon

at Cliffside Inn in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.

1986TOC expanded (again!)

from a one and a half day Institute

to a two and a half day Institute and Awards Luncheon.
