Test Execution in Solution Manager
Executing Test:
1. Tester will login and go to SOLMAN_WORKCENTER transaction.Test Management Tab -> Tester Worklist Select the Test plan/Test package and accordingly the test case which needs to be executed: Click on Run Button.
2. Test script is open in new browser window
Tester will set the status of the test wto Testing In Progress
3. The tester will then execute the testing, capture results and upload results in the results tab.
4. The tester will set the status of the test to Test Execution Completed.
Approving Test Results:5. Approver will login and go to SOLMAN_WORKCENTER transaction. Test Management Tab -> Tester Worklist Select the Test plan/Test package and accordingly the test case which needs to be executed:
Click on Run Button.
6. Approver will validate the results with the uploaded test results.
7. Approver sets the status of the test to PASS or FAIL and saves. This will trigger e-signature process.
8. Approver will sign the test result with e-signature.
9. This completes the Approval procedure. The results can be accessed from Test Management Workcenter.
