First Café Ash Wednesday
There will be an Ash Wednesday worship service at
5:30pm in the sanctuary. Following worship, we will have
soup and salad in Jim Thomas Hall.
Join the Hurricane Michael clean up team!
First Pres. Fernandina is sending a work team to help
with ongoing relief and clean up efforts from Hurricane
Michael in Florida. Plan to join us at Dogwood Acres
Presbyterian Camp the week of April 6-13. Cost per per-
son will be $200. Commitments must be made by March
15. To apply for the team or get more information, con-
tact Peter Williams at ptrdoc@aol.com.
Sing on Palm and Easter Sunday
Raise your hearts and voices to the Lord! Come join the
choir and sing with us for Palm and Easter Sundays! Re-
hearsals will be Wednesdays at 6:15 pm starting on Feb-
ruary the 20th. Contact Gabi, gabidelasca@gmail.com or

Touchdown!!!! In February, we asked you the help us tackle hunger in our community, and you won the game! We received $2,210 for the Youth meals at Hope House, and $360 in cash contributions for the Barnabas Food Pantry. We collected 922 pounds of food here at the church, and another 463.5 at Publix, for a total of 1395.5 pounds of food, which will provide over 1000 meals for those in need.

First Presbyterian Book Discussion Group will be meeting
again Monday March 11th at 11:30 in church library. We
will be reading “Educated: A Memoir” by Tara Westover.

Can you read to toddler? Sing with a three year old and and
help them learn to pray? If you have an hour or two before

Congregational Meeting
There will be a congregational meeting Sunday March 10
at the end of both services to approve the nominating
committee.
24 Hours That Changed The World
Our Lenten book studies begin next Sunday using the
Adam Hamilton Book, “24 Hours that Changed the
World.” Copies are available in Jim Thomas Hall for a
suggested donation of $10.00 Every Adult Sunday
School Class will be participating in this 6 week study.
Other opportunities for groups will be announced.
