Introduction: “The NGO World” offers internship opportunities to students of various
fields who will be completing their studies in near future or have recently graduated and
looking for job opportunities. Program offers a wide range of opportunities for students to
gain insight in the technical and administrative and social & development programs of
TNW and partner organizations.
TNW internships are not paid and all costs of travel and accommodation are the
responsibility of the intern candidate. Limited number of internship opportunities is being
offered during the 1st phase.
Objective: The objective of offering internship is to benefit the underprivileged students
and prepare them for competitive job market while strengthening their technical and
career development skills.
Limitations: minimum 18 years of age and at least 16 years of education.
Duration: The minimum duration of internship is normally be 08 weeks, extendable up
to 12 weeks maximum based on location, organizational and professional needs.
Candidates who may perform well may transition to long term full time contractual job at
TNW or partner organizations if available.

Areas for internship:
1. General Management: It includes Administration, Finance, Human Resource,
Planning, Resource Mobilization and MERR (Monitoring - Evaluation – Reporting –
Research).
2. ICT: Information & Communication Technology Interns in addition to clearing
theoretical concept get the opportunity to work directly on various Information &
Communication Technology/Social media related tasks of The NGO World, including
developing and managing TNW websites.
3. Marketing and Promotion: It includes development of promotional material like
brochures, handouts, newsletter, videos and magazine.
4. Project Management: Interns will get opportunity to be involved in Executing
Educational, Health, Poverty Alleviation, Livelihood, Rural Development
(livestock/agriculture) Social Welfare, Youth & Self Employment Programs at TNW.
General Coaching: In addition to learning through these on-the-job training activities, the
interns may also be offered classroom training/coaching sessions to help them improve
their own skills to better prepare as future professionals. Classes / coaching sessions may
include various skills like, CV /Resume writing, Interview Techniques, Basic Computer
skills, Communication skills, Leadership and Project Management.

Certification: Successful interns will be awarded with certificates. But be sure that TNW
will evaluate the following aspects to declare the interns successful:
1- Punctuality and regularity
2- Learning attitude
3- Meeting assignment targets and deadlines
4- Participation in classes and coaching sessions
Experience you need: No previous experience required- we are looking for flexible
and motivated people who are able to work with limited support. Candidates will be
interviewed to judge their suitability for the role.
How can you apply?
You are invited to complete an application for internship. This questionnaire
includes providing details about your education and experience. You will also be
able to indicate the area of work within TNW that you are hoping to intern.
You will also be asked to write about your motivation for applying for a TNW
Internship.
After evaluation of your application an invitation letter will be sent to the selected
interns.
