Production…This film is based on the novel called Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and is a thriller which includes the actors :O Colin Firth who plays Bill HaydonO Gary Oldman who plays George

Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hardy and Mark Strong.
O The budget for the film was £20 million, or which the French owned company StudioCanal funded.

Production…O It was originally written by Peter Morgan
but he later dropped out after writing the draft. He was then replaced by Peter Straughan and Bridget O'Connor.
O The film was directed by Tomas Alfredson, this was the first English language film that he has directed, it has also has been produced by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner who own Working Title Films.
O The film has a running time of 127 minutes and was given a certificate 15.
O They released a featurette of the original film to coincide with the recent film.

O Universal plan to give the film a big release in the USA on the 9th December 2011.
