AUSTRALIA: A CULTURAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL

EXPOSE

Cheers, Mates!

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

My journey began in the province

of Western Australia

I went to the State Library,

Museum AND Art Gallery in Perth

I chilled drinkin’ grog with the

locals

Went to an Aussie Rules Football

match of the West Coast Eagles

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Known for its production of

natural resources (gold, gas,

iron ore, minerals), I did some

mining in the Goldfield region

I also went to many wine

tastings in the area, including

tastings in: Blackwood Valley,

Manjimup, and Peel

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

After the mass consumption of

wine and grog, I needed a relaxing

day in Coral Bay

This tourist destination is known

for its beautiful coastline and

fishing

I snorkeled at Ningaloo Reef

where I was able to see whale

sharks and manta rays

I also went deep sea fishing, where

I caught a record marlin!

THE OUTBACK

After spending time with

civilized society, I decided I

needed some time to myself

So I decided to venture

into the Australian Outback!

With the proper supplies

(and a fair amount of grog) I

started my trek

WALKABOUT

During my time in the

Outback, I went on a Walkabout

I encountered many of the

strange, native creatures

including snakes, reptiles and

marsupials

In defense, I shot a kangaroo

(during hunting season of

course)

AYERS ROCK

After thousands of miles of

trekking, I finally made it to

Ayers Rock

This huge, unusual rock is

called a “monolith,” and it is the

most famous of this type of rock

It is in the Northern Territory

(so I trekked a bloody long way!)

I climbed to the top and enjoyed

the beautiful view!
