Sample:Thread information: M30x3.0 P=1.0This thread has 3 starts. We use:SER 1616 H16 + 16 ER 1.0 ISO BMA

Don‘t forget to change the anvil, if the helix is different.

Thread Turning Methods

Carbide Grade Selection

BMA (TiALN): Stainless Steel, exotic materials, for middle and high cutting speed with high temperatue

MXC (TiN): Free cutting untreated alloy steels, stainless steel, and cast iron (low cutting speed also possible)

Type B with sintered chipbreaker for longer tool life

Nonferrous metal and non metallic materials: K2021

BLU is a special Carbide grade with a triple layer coating sub-micronTiAlN for Stainless steel, Titanium and high temperatur alloys

Differents between sintered and grinded Inserts

SinteredInsert from Sandvik Coromant Pitch 0.5 ISO

GrindedInsert from C.P.T. Pitch 0.5 ISO

Our C.P.T. inserts get a special finish after the coating, so we can supply an insert with perfect cutting edge fillet.

They are everywhere same sharp for best cutting results.
