This week in Junior Infants we were learning about

materials.

We decided to look for these materials in our classroom.

One group hunted for glass.

Another group hunted for wool.

Finally!

This group hunted for metal.

Easy!

This group hunted for wood.

There are lots of wooden things in our classroom.

This group hunted for paper.

Books, copies and posters are made

from paper.

The last group had to find things that were made from plastic.

Our football, paint bottles and boxes are made from plastic.

A lot of our toys are made from plastic.

What would we do without these materials?
