1.Why home-based learning?

Keeping Singapore Safeo All primary, secondary, Pre-University and IHL

students, including students from Special Education (SPED) schools, will shift to full Home-Based Learning (HBL) from 8 April 2020, till 4 May 2020.

Shifting to Full HBLo We want your learning to continue.

o We will continue to support you while you are at home.

o We will not be able to re-teach everything that is covered during this Full HBL period.

2.Modes of learning/ Types of work

o ‘Live’ lessons conducted via Google Meet, Zoom, etc(Note: Meeting ID will be sent by teachers via email/ Whatsapp chats)

3.Academic Expectations

To ensure your learning continues

Role and Expectations of Studentso Be disciplined and keep to the HBL Schedule.

o Be responsible for your own learning.

o Adhere to the deadlines and submit work promptly.

o Take an active approach to learn and understand what is being taught.

o Seek help if you need, from the various sources: o Teachers, Peers, Parents, SLS, reputable online sources

4.HBL Schedule

What Do I Need to Do?

Future HBL Schedules Will Be Uploaded every Fri, by 5 pm

5.Support for Students

To ensure your well-being and learning is taken care of

Student Well-Being

o To check on your well-being, there will be e-FTGP at 12.50 p.m. every day

o Your Form Teachers will send you the GoogleMeetlink daily

o Provide you with their email address

o Share ways you can contact them should you need help

o Check that you have learned and provide feedback, where necessary

o 15% weighting for WA2 will be re-distributed to WA3 and EYE in the following proportions:
