These figures are made of individual shapes created in powerpoint.

The easiest way to use these figures is select the entire figure with your mouse, copy the figure (ctrl-c), and, then, paste the figure (ctrl-v) into Paint. Now, copy the image from Paint (ctrl-c) and paste it into your document. This will place a jpg image into your document instead of the shapes created in powerpoint.
