And nothin’ but the truth!

I haven’t played since March 10th... that’s 7 bloody months. I had my annual check-up the other day and got hell from the doctor for snapping on some weight, high cholesterol, not getting enough exercise. I also had a pretty bad fall and hurt my elbow and wrist a couple of months ago... and I believe it’s all from not getting out to play every week... I get an amazing workout from a night’s performance. I also want to mention that I got a note from Yann Kostick that owns Oui Oui French Restaurant, with the lovely Gaby, that they will close down until October 1st to get some new acts and some old ones “tuned up”... there might be some changes made to their great spot on Independencia... going to miss them for a couple of weeks though, as I have really been enjoying their music and food.
