The Story of Moses

I wish I knew my purpose in life, other than hopping like this all day! Well, I’ll tell you!
But first, let me tell you a story . . .
It all began in the old testamentWhen the Pharaoh of Egypt became afraid of God’s people
Officials?
Yes!
There are too many Hebrews! We must put them to work. Let us see if we can limit their numbers.
Indeed!
The Hebrews were forced into slavery
And had oppressive slavemasters
GET TO WORK YOU LAZY DOGS!!!!
Then Pharaoh gave thethe order . . .
“Throw every Hebrew boy into the Nile, but let every girl live!”
But in a Hebrew house . . .
A baby was being hidden
But when she could hide Moses no longer, he was placed in the Nile River and saved by Pharaoh’s daughter
Some years later . . .
An Egyptian was beating a Hebrew slave
And Moses strikes down the Egyptian
Fearing he will be caught, Moses flees Egypt . . .
Moses was then called out to lead the Israelites out of Egypt
Moses and Aaron went to face Pharaoh . . .
And Aaron threw his staff on the ground, and it became a snake
But Pharaoh would not let the Israelites go
No!
As the day’s followed, plagues were brought upon Egypt yet Pharaoh still
would not let the Israelites go.
And then the Israelites rejoice!
Up! Leave my people, you and the Israelites!
You see, you really don’t know what your purpose in life is until you are called out by God.
What a great story. I can’t wait until God calls me out!
