Learning is facilitated if the learner discovers or creates by physical objects by problem solving

Pronunciation is as fundamental. Functional words are chosen. taught inductively grammatical. Structural approach . Successful learning.

Objectives:

For beginning-level students to gain oral and written. near-native fluency.

Syllabus: Structural syllabus is adopted. grammatical items and related to

vocabulary. Language items base on grammatical.

Learning activities: teacher modeling is minimal. Learners study together to get new

information.

Learner roles:

Learners are expected to develop independence and

responsibility; self-correct through their awareness; learn to work cooperatively.

Teacher roles: be silent; use clues to teach; no formal test silently monitor learners’

interactions.

Materials: Cuisenaire rods

It raises students’ participation. Learners cooperate to help each other. Learners discover the language on their own. Learners can use materials from the teacher.

The atmosphere in the class boring. Learners hard to derive new concepts. much time. The learner hard to understand.
