CAUSES: REASONS WHY

STUDENTS DROP OUT.

CLASSES WEREN’T INTERESTING

Nearly 47% of students said that they dropped out because classes weren't interesting. They were boring

MAKING MONEY$

32% said they needed to get a job to make money to support a family or just simply chose to do that as a

living instead.

TOO MUCH FREEDOM

38% said they had too much freedom and not enough rules.

PREVETION: WHAT MIGHT HELP

STUDENTS STAY IN SCHOOL.

COMUNICATION

Schools and teachers should strengthen their communication with parents and work with them to make sure that students show up and do

their work .

IMPROVEMENT

Improve teaching curricula to make school more relevant and engaging the enhance the connection between school and work.

STUDENT TEACHER RELATIONSHIPS

If a teacher has a strong relationship with a student the student is more likely to stay in school and be motivated because they will have an adult

inside school to support him or her.

OPINION: WHAT DO I THINK

MIGHT HELP STUDENT STAY IN

SCHOOL.

EXTRA CURICULA ACTIVITIES

I believe this would help students be more

engaged in school

MORE HANDS ON WORK AND FIELD TRIPS

This makes class more entertaining and helps kids stay interested in class.

Career Pathways

In school everyday I hear “I'm not going to need this in life when I grow older” If schools had career path ways students will most likely be more

engaged in school due to the fact that they will be learning about something they want to do in life.
