Oncetherewasanaverageboy,withaverageconcerns.HisnamewasEverett,andnothingextraordinaryeverhappenedtohim.Healwayswishedthatsomethingexcitingwouldhappen,buthiswishneverseemedtocometrue.Until,thatis,thedayhislaptopbroke.

Needingtotakeabreakfromallhisresponsibilities,Everettdecidedtotakeawalk.However,hehadtroubleclearinghismind.Angry,helookeduptowardstheskyandyelledtowardstheheavens,“IwishIhadmoney!”

Atthatmoment,somethingverystrangebegantohappen.Suddenly,moneybegantorainfromthesky,rightontoEverett

Everettopenedhiseyestoseethemoneyfallingdownonhim.Hequicklyscoopedupthemoneyinhishands.Hewasoverjoyedatsuchastrangeandfortunateevent.

Excitedandabitconfused,Everettdecidedtocallafriendtotellthemwhathadhappened.However,whenhereachedintohispocket,thephonewasn’tthere.

Figuringhemusthavelefthisphonesomewhere,Everettdecidednottoworryabouthisphone’ssuddendisappearance.Instead,hewishedtotryhisluckandseeifhecouldmakemoremoneyfalldownfromthesky.Onceagain,helookeduptotheskyandyelled,“IwishIhadmoney!” Andonceagain,themoneyfell.

Everettwasextremelypleasedwithhisnewfoundability.Hegatheredupallthemoneyanddecidedtoputitinhiswallet.However,whenhereachedintohispocket,thewalletwasnolongerthere.

Tooexcitedtothinkclearly,Everettshruggedthedisappearanceoffasacoincidence,anddecidedtoheadtohiscarsohecouldgobuyhislaptop.

Whenhegottohiscar,Everettrealizedhewasstartingtofeelalittlehungry.Realizinghedidnothaveenoughmoneytobuybothhislaptopandhisfood,hedecidedtomakeawishoncemore.

Everettlookeduptotheskyandmadehiswish.Onceagain,moneybegantofallfromthesky.However,asitfell,thekeysEverettwasholdingsuddenlydisappearedfromhishands.

Everettbegantorealizethatforeverywishhemade,oneofhisbelongingswoulddisappear.Thismadehimveryupset.NowEveretthadnocellphone,nowallet,andnocarkeys.

Ashesatonthecurb,hebegantowonderwhattodonext.Hewaslosinghisbelongings,andheneededtofigureouthowtogetaridehome.Afterthinkingforawhile,hebegantocomeupwithaplan.

Everettdecidedtogoaheadandwishformoremoney.Hefiguredhecouldalwaysreplacehislostitemslater.Atthemoment,moremoneyseemedlikethebestoption.

Whenhewaspleasedwiththeamountofmoneyhehadwishedfor,Everettwalkeduptoastrangerandaskedtoborrowhiscellphone.Hewantedtocallhomeandseeifsomeonecouldcomepickhimup.

Afterawhile,Everettfinallyarrivedwithhishouse.Hewasfrustratedfromwalkingsolong,butpleasedwiththemoneyinhispocket.Hecouldn’twaittotellhismotherwhathadhappened,toseewhatshethoughtofthesituation.
