October has arrived. It is hard to believe that 2006 is almost GONE. If any of our readers had a New Years Resolution to become more involved in CSI; the year is not over YET!! Please get involved and discover the real value of our organization.

Our September meeting was well attended and the students gave away their scholarship award and had their $1000.00 drawing.

Dr. Jane Regard won the money and several students were given scholarship monies to help defray some the cost of their education. Congratulations to ALL !!

For those who did not attend the September meeting Mr. Gary Waters, Assistant Superintendent of Facilities Maintenance with the Hamilton County Schools was our guest speaker. Do you realize there is over 6,200,000 square feet of schools to maintain and a 20 year old painter; if he started paint-ing walls could not paint all the walls in the School System before retirement at age 65. This county needs to be grateful to have such

a group of dedicated individuals maintaining our Schools.
