This Act facilities the establishment of the Higher Education Authority and defines its functions and powers to yield quality assurance and promotion in higher education. The Act will deliver the establishment, governance and regulation of public higher education institutions to provide registration of private higher education institutions. This Act will repeal and replace the University Act, 1999.
