Grains

Oatmeal Brown rice Whole wheat

You need a source of grains in your everyday eating.

Vegetables

Vary your veggies Any kind of veggies are good.

Fresh, dry, frozen, or canned vegetables.

100% Vegetable Juice

Fruits

Any fruits are good for you to have everyday.

You can also have 100% fruit juice. Examples: Bananas, Kiwis, Grapes, etc. Focus on Fruit!!

Milk

All Milk products

Cheese, Milk, yogurt

Should be low fat of fat free

Meat and Beans

Meat should be lean or low fat

This category includes dry beans, eggs, nuts, and seeds.

Oils

Canola oil, corn oil, olive oil, etc. Some foods are high in oils already. Examples of foods with oils in them.
