The Pilgrims landed on the shores of Massachusetts in 1620.

Accent. People from New York have a very particular accent as well as people from Massachusetts.(Car,Bar)

Some of the best Universities are in this region. Ivy League Schools)

It is the cultural center of the country. New Englanders have a reputation for

hard work, shrewdness, thrift, and ingenuity. 

Mid-Atlantic States&Washington D.C.

New York City, Philadelphia

The 1st state of the new union was Delaware.

Mostly densely populated region of the USA.

People are very active politically in this region.

This region is famous for its “Southern Cooking” and “Southern Charm”

People are very traditional, religious and laid back Racial Tension Plantations, tobacco and cotton Economically not as strong Accents are very distinct Very popular tourist destinations St.Augustin, Florida. Oldest U.S. city(1565) Everyone comes here to retire
