The Creative mind

>Creativity refers to the phenomenon whereby a person creates something new (a product, a solution, a work of art, a novel, a joke, etc.) that has some kind of value.

>Creativity is not just about arts, but about Science etc. as well.

>Not Every Artist is creative.

>The term “creativity” came into picture only after the 18th century.

>Interestingly, the 18th century is also known as the “age of enlightenment” ‘coz now creativity was linked with the concept of imagination, and not limited to expression.

In the 20th century, creativity came to be known in 5 stages-

>“How do we make people creative ?”

>The answer is simple, its much easier to prevent it, than to make it.- Professor Howard Gardner

>Creativity can be judged only over the long run.

>Only when the creator’s work change how other people think & behave.

>Sometimes, Creative minds are recognized long after their demise.
