Is there any way of recovering from this budget crisis?
California is about to eliminate its entire $1 billion welfare-to-work program to close a
$19.9 billion deficit(deficiency in amount).
Arizona will cut about $1 million in Medicaid services to try and close a $3.1 billion
deficit.
Colorado will cut education funding by $400 each student this school year (2010-11).
Steps towards recovery:
But are these steps enough?

Useless Spending
There are 2 million inmates in the US prison
system.
The government is spending 37 billion dollarsto keep these people in there.
The government needs to spend less on the
prison system and more on public education.
