Mission:The Center on Disability and Development (CDD) supports individuals with disabilities and their families to be change agents who are valued, contributing community members, as self-defined, through education, research, and knowledge dissemination.

What we do...Research To address the needs of our community, the CDD conducts research on a variety of topics, including education and early intervention, disaster and community living.EducationThe CDD offers dozens of training opportunities to the community throughout the year on disability-related topics. From hour-long seminars to full conferences, these are opportunities for individuals, family members, and professionals to learn more about a variety of topics.Service & OutreachThe CDD has many ongoing community service and training projects that are all designed to increase quality of life, support self-determination, and/or facilitate community integration for people with disabilities and their families. These projects address a broad range of family and consumer needs.
