FALL 2012! U C R I V E R S I D E P H I K A P P A P S I! VOLUME 1 - ISSUE 1
In the past several years Phi Kappa Psi
has emerged from the GreekCommunity at the University of
California Riverside as one of the most
notable and respected fraternities on
campus. A new exciting time has
befallen the brothers of California Nu.
The creation of a Housing Corporation
and newly acquired property with over5000 sq/ft and half an acre of land has
set the stage for not only our
established presence at UCR, but also
for all future brothers who join our
ranks. We are proud of what we have
achieved here in just a short amount of
time since our introduction at UCRiverside and we continue to ensure
our stability and longevity as a
California chapter of Phi Kappa Psi.

THE CREATION OF THE COMPLEX
The Complex is the envy of the Greek
community at UC Riverside. Efforts
over the past year have pressed to
expand the influence of the Chapter
and such efforts have rewarded the
chapter with such a prominent
establishment that serves to distinguish
the fraternity on campus. The donation
made by Jerry Nelson has
complimented the property with a
chapter study room and displayed that,
although we have made strives to
increase our prominence, academics still
remains a top priority for brothers. All
brothers of Phi Kappa Psi are welcome
to the property and have access to its
front doors.
When it comes to the progress in
relation to Phi Kappa Psi at California
Nu, these houses represent not only
the dedication of brothers now, but the
guarantee of dedication and
development for brothers in the future.
With the honorable flag of Phi Kappa
Psi displayed distinctly over our houses
and beside the letters of our fraternity,
brothers are filled with a since of
obligation to forever uphold the values
of the fraternity, the chapter, the
university and the community.

Phi Psi has given me the opportunity tonetwork with countless alumni, opened upnumerous internships all over the worldand has allowed me to mature and growunder the watchful eye of mentors I callBrothers. What I do for Phi Psi is the leastI can do to show my gratitude towards theBrotherhood that has shaped me into aman. I want to continue on this traditionand ensure that the support I havereceived through Phi Kappa Psi is available
to others in the future.
So whats next for Tim?
I hope to continue on pursuing myreserve military career while pursuing myambitions in consulting. Naturally throughall of this, I will be active on the nationaland the chapter level of Phi Psi; helpinganyway I can.
