Mr. John Colgren devoted his life to science and promoting its study. He will present his marvelous

experiments and offer some very special guidance to all prospective teachers.

Mr. Colgren taught science for 33 years, creating his own curriculum with some exceptional units;

such as building homemade rockets from household materials, operation egg drop and other related

demonstrations promoting and teaching the scientific method. In addition, he produced nearly three

hundred educational videos for Discovery Education.
