St Bernadette’s VE Day Celebrations

Violethas made a jam jar rain forest! She has also been watching some robins who have nested in her garden. They laid 5 eggs, which hatched and now the birds have left, Violet has been able to have a really close look at the nest. That is super Science!

Tomlistened to our music and thought of a train going up and down. His RE work is lovely, Tom has been thinking about the Holy Spirit. He has also done a super piece of writing

about a Special Day Out.

Ciara and Erindid something very kind and special – they made a cake for the NHS staff at York District Hospital, what a lovely idea! The people at the hospital were so pleased, they even put the girls’ photo on their hospital website.Erin has been Ciara’s teacher this week – with a little help from Bubbles ☺

D & T Special Focus – making lighthouses.

Finleyhas made the most amazing lighthouse and found some fascinating facts.

Sebhas really enjoyed designing and making his lighthouse. Super job!

Isabellamade her super lighthouse. Her mum tells me she didn’t really have the materials to make it as she wanted, but I think she’s done a brilliant job anyway!

Charlottehas also made a super lighthouse. You can see her designing and making it in these lovely photos.

Tomalso made an amazing lighthouse – you can see where he has planned carefully before he started to build. He has also found some super lighthouse facts.
