Through our industry involvement we are able to provide guidance and insight into new technology areas with testing needs and certification for testing programs.

Promote early adoption through collaborative group testing (Plugfests).

Offer members access to our world-class, multi-million dollar shared test bed which continues to grow.

Wrap-up & DiscussionThe UNH-IOL 2.5/5G testing service provides electrical conformance testing for products based on both the NBASE-T specification and IEEE 802.3bz standard

The UNH-IOL fosters multi-vendor interoperability by participating in the standard's development from initial idea to successful approval and market deployment

The UNH-IOL demonstrate capabilities and benefits of NBASE-T (such as support for Cat5e/6, 6-around-1 interoperability, Downshifting) at industry events like InteropITXand Plugfests, as well as custom test tools like BitPhyerThe UNH-IOL engages students through standards testing, working side by side with engineers at Plugfests, standards meetings and industry conferences so students enter the industry with the experience to quickly make a difference
