Dr. Temple Grandin is an

author, activist, professor

and artist with autism,

whose profound insights

into the welfare and needs

of animals have changed

the global livestock

industry. In 2010 she was

named “One of the 100

most influential people in

the world” by Time

Magazine.

Temple Grandin has published 13 books including, Thinking in Pictures: My Life with Autism, and Animals in Translation: Using the Mysteries of Autism to Decode Animal Behavior. Today 1/3 of all Livestock handling facilities in the U.S. use Temple Grandin’s more humane design.
