1) SST Mesh on Plastic SupportWoven mesh from SST, titanium, hastelloy, etc., 35µ- 3,000µ that is heat welded on plastic ribs (PVC, CPVCor Polypropylene). Practical & economical solution fora wide range of water filtration applications. Excellentpressure rating,  very high bursting pressure and verygood chemical resistance. Disadvantages are that the hole size may shift over time and that the plastic ribsthat are used for mesh support are blinding about 40%of the effective screen area. Limited temperature ratingsto 200°F. Comparable price $ 1,500.

2) SST Mesh on Perforated BasketHigh performance screenWoven mesh from SST, titanium, hastelloy, etc., 2µ -3,000µ are diffusion bonded (sintered) on supportmesh (drainage member) and on a perforated SSTbasket. The support mesh increases the screen openarea by about 40%. The hole size will not change overtime. Very high open screen area ratio, very goodpressure rating, good bursting pressure rating andchemical resistance. Very high temperature ratings to250°F. Comparable price $ 3,000.

3) Vee Wire, Wedge WireVee shape wires from SST, titanium, etc. 25µ-3,000µthat are spirally wound & welded on support rods. Rigid & very strong construction that will not flex orgive to backwash force. Only two point particle contact.Very high consistency. Ideal for fibrous material. Theslots will not shift or change over time. Good workingpressure and bursting pressure. High temperatureratings to 300°F. Comparable price $ 4,500.
