OUR MOTTOKEEP IT SIMPLEOne of the most exciting challenges about building the myfood solution, has been the ability to move fast, pivot many times over several months and then arrive at a reliable, mature and scalable solution.This technique is often called Extreme Manufacturing and is largely inspired by Extreme Programming, Lean and Agility from the software development world.
With the modern tools that we have today, entrepreneurs have the possibility to create new, mature platforms and quickly adapt to the needs of a startup.
Microsoft has offered us a comprehensive stack of technologies through its “Bizspark Program”:• Visual Studio, .Net Framework (developer environment, unit testing, continuous integration to increase code quality)• Win10 IOT (embedded tiny computer Raspberry Pi to manage sensor and greenhouse settings) • Azure (web application hosting, machine learning services to predict our network production performances)
To flawlessly cover and connect our smart greenhouses all over the globe, we chose Sigfox as a single point of entry to the IOT universe.
